- Software Product Specific Terms §1.1 (last updated 18 June 2024): “Computer” means a virtual or physical device for storing or processing data, such as servers, desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices and hardware products. Where a device contains more than one virtual environment (including virtual machines and virtual processors), each virtual environment will be counted as a separate Computer.
- Counting rules
- Subscription-based Software License (§1.1): activate the Software on up to two Computers at a time; may not use the Software on the two Computers simultaneously. FRL offerings may only be activated on one Computer at a time. Term License Products (§1.3) use the same two-Computer non-simultaneous rule unless indicated as FRL, in which case one Computer at a time. Each virtual machine / virtual environment is a separate Computer. There is no conversion from Computer to Named User or Transaction.

- FRL: one Computer at a time. Non-FRL subscription and Term License: two Computers at a time, not simultaneously. HelpX Creative Cloud product description (last updated 19 October 2019) lists FRL Multi-User Offerings as Per-Computer “If available.”
