- License Model Schedule v3.0 (effective 29 April 2024) s.9.B: an additional Software License is required for each single virtual central processing unit formed by multiple CPUs, whose aggregate capacity must not exceed a single CPU. Example printed: when configuring an LPAR on IBM AIX, or other operating system, each unit of CPU processing power (or fraction thereof) must be allocated one Production Logical CPU license.
