- PT-WS, Server Licenses (per core) licensing by Physical Core: “Datacenter edition permits use of the server software in any number of OSEs on the Licensed Server.” This is Datacenter only. Standard edition is not unlimited (two OSEs; see Windows Server Standard OSE allotment). Licensing by Individual Virtual OSE (either edition, subscription/SA only) permits one Virtual OSE per licensed set, not unlimited OSEs.
