- PT-SA: “Under License Mobility Through Software Assurance (SA), Customer may move its licensed software to shared servers under any of its Licenses which are designated as having License Mobility for which it has SA.” Deploy “only with Microsoft Azure Services or qualified License Mobility through Software Assurance Partner”; complete and submit the License Mobility verification form. “Customer may move its licensed software from shared servers back to its Licensed Servers or to another party’s shared servers, but not on a short term basis (not within 90 days of the last assignment).” Per-Core: each Core License with active SA → “One virtual core (subject to the product use rights including the requirement of a minimum of 4 cores per OSE).” SQL Server Server/CAL: each Server License with active SA → 1 OSE. Not Windows Server OS (Windows Server is not in the LM per-product table; PT-WS License Mobility is External Connector only). Fail-over under LM is the PT-SA clause (passive fail-over Instances in one OSE; licenses for passive must not exceed production on the same partner’s shared servers).
