- Elastic License 2.0 (as of 2026-09-26): no altering, removing or obscuring licensing, copyright or other notices; “You must ensure that anyone who gets a copy of any part of the software from you also gets a copy of these terms.” Modified copies must include “prominent notices stating that you have modified the software.” Violation terminates the licenses automatically; they are reinstated retroactively if the violation ceases within 30 days of a notice.
