- KB 429208: "The expiration of the SnS does not revoke the underlying software entitlement." ESXi and vCenter keep operating and edition features remain unlocked, but downloads of patches, security updates and new releases require active SnS, support requests end, and adding hosts or major upgrades during a gap require active SnS for license conversion.
