- SUR Exhibit 2 §48.1: SAP Application Value (SAV) "is the sum of list prices for Named Users, External Community Members, Software Engines and Supplementary Products, excluding those items identified in the list of prices and conditions that do not contribute to the SAP Application Value."

- A value metric computed from list prices, not a count of users or hardware. Third-party runtime databases sold by SAP are priced against the SAV of the Named Users and Packages that are "SAV relevant" for that database (SUR §9.1). The list of non-contributing items is in the confidential list of prices and conditions.
