- Definition
- Cloud Add-on to SA means a User SL that is purchased in addition to (and associated with) a previously acquired Qualifying License (or set of Qualifying Licenses) with Active Software Assurance (SA). A Cloud Add-on to SA User SL is assigned to a single Qualified User (as defined in Customer’s Enrollment). For any Cloud Add-on to SA User SL not appearing individually, the license terms applicable to a full User SL for the same service apply.
- Counting rules
- One Cloud Add-on to SA User SL per Qualifying License unless product terms say otherwise, assigned to a Qualified User. Qualified User is not a Glossary lemma; Product Terms say as defined in Customer’s Enrollment. Customer may not acquire new or additional From SA SLs; Customer may renew existing From SA SLs (Microsoft 365 Applications Product Terms).
- Floors / minimums
- Requires a previously acquired Qualifying License with Active Software Assurance. Qualifying set for Microsoft 365 E3/E5 Add-on includes Windows 11 Enterprise/Education per device + Core/Enterprise CAL Suite + Office Professional Plus.
