- NCI-VDI is priced on a per user basis as measured by the peak number of concurrent user sessions. For both dedicated and shared desktop deployments, licensing is determined by the total number of users simultaneously connected to the infrastructure. [...] NCI-VDI licenses must run on a dedicated software licensed VDI cluster with no core-based licensing. Mixing of non-VDI workloads is not supported.
