- The conversion process converts your node-based licenses to capacity-based licenses. The conversion is based on the core-to-node ratio in your environment, which is the number of cores divided by the number of nodes. For example, if you have a total core count of 96 across three nodes, each node-based license converts to a 32-core capacity-based license.
